famous composer Shashwat Sachdev has been taking the world by storm with his work in the Bollywood industry. Recently, when the National Film Awards, his film, Article 370‘ won big and was the hit of the film awards. During one of his latest interviews, the composer talked about winning the award, working on ‘Article 370’, and how it felt like everything for him to return to the awards show to get his well-deserved title after his win in 2019 with ‘URI: The Surgical Strike.‘

While chatting with Variety India, the composer explained how great it was to know that he had bagged another win with the item 370′, on which he had worked with Aditya Dhar. Commenting on the matter he shared, “Awards are fun. They come on a specific day, but they make you revisit so many years at once.”He later added that when he received his first National Film Award for ‘URI: The Surgical Strike’ in 2019, he was extremely “overwhelmed” and didn’t know how to take such a big news at the time. As he becomes more and more experienced in society, Sachdev tries to take things more lightly. He added: “This time, with ‘Article 370’, I take it a little more quietly and a lot more gratefully.“Sachdev also revealed that he and Dhar celebrated the win and recently discussed the film’s performance at this year’s National Film Award. He stated: “Yes, we talked. He gave me a lot of love, which he always does. The first thing he told me was that he was really proud of my work.”The famous Bollywood composer’s last big film was the ‘Dhurandhar’ franchise, and many people were expecting the film to bag a National Film Award next year. When asked about the same, Sachdev joked about the possibility and said, “What about ‘Dhurandhar’ next year? [Laughs] I’ll just smile about it and go back to work in peace.”

The two films that won Sachdev his National Film Awards had been created by Dhar alone. During the interview, he spoke openly about the filmmaker and shared that “Aditya is a brother to me, so working with him has always been deeply personal. We’ve grown through these films together, and to be recognized twice for the music that came out of that trust is incredibly moving. Somewhere inside, I still feel like the same guy sitting in a studio to find the most honest note to find the most honest note.“
