Marvel Studios is preparing for the cinema re-release of its greatest success: ‘Avengers: Endgame’.Five years after it first debuted on the big screens, the film is all set to return to theaters as ‘Avengers: Endgame Encore’. With just a month to go before its return to the big screen, the team launched Premium Infinity Vision tickets, which went on sale at 9am on Sunday. E.T.According to reports circulating online, the “Encore” special edition will feature additional scenes not included in the original 2019 release. They are said to include an all-new introduction by director duo Joe and Anthony Russo, never-before-seen footage and a new ending sequence that will connect the film directly to ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, the next installment in the MCU, which is scheduled to hit theaters on December 18, 2026.

‘Avengers: Endgame’ increases runtime

If reports are accurate, ‘Avengers: Endgame Encore’ will run for approximately 3 hours and 8 minutes, with the inclusion of 7 minutes of new footage, thus extending the film’s record as the longest ‘Avengers’ film. These new images are rumored to straddle the gap between the events of Endgame and the upcoming Doomsday.Meanwhile, advanced movie listings for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ have revealed a preliminary running time of 165 minutes (2 hours and 45 minutes), giving it the second longest running time.

The advance sale of premium tickets makes it appear, the makers have not yet released the official trailer of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’. According to online buzz, the trailer will be released online immediately after its debut at San Diego Comic-Con on July 25th.“Avengers: Doomsday” is expected to mark the beginning of the final chapter of the Multiverse saga, with its story concluding in “Avengers: Secret Wars.” The films will be released a year apart, with ‘Doomsday’ slated for December 2026 and ‘Secret Wars’ slated for December 2027.
