Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for admission to Medical, Dental and AYUSH courses in Karnataka for 2026-27. Candidates who have not registered for UGGET-2026 can now register through the new UGNEET-2026 link available on the KEA website.The application center is open from 2.00 pm on July 17, 2026, to 11.00 am on July 24, 2026. Candidates must complete the registration, submit the forms and pay the required fees to be eligible for medical, dental and AYUSH courses.New registration site for those who missed CET registrationKEA said that candidates who have already registered for CET-2026 will receive a link on the KEA website soon to add their NEET number to their existing questionnaire. Such candidates do not need to submit a new registration.The officials have also clarified that fresh registration will not be allowed after the last date of seat allotment. However, new registrations will be allowed during the Stray Vacancy Round, and the schedule will be announced later.Eligibility and verification documents have been announcedThe minimum qualifying marks provided by the relevant authorities after the publication of the results of the UGNEET-2026 examination will apply for admission to Medical, Dental and AYUSH courses. The KEA also said that the eligibility criteria for SC, ST and OBC will be applicable to Karnataka SC, ST and OBC only.The categories of candidates who are required to go for document verification will be notified later. KEA advised the applicants to read the UGNEET-2026 Information Bulletin before applying and understand the eligibility criteria, seat categories and requirements for claiming various seat categories.Advice for non-Karnataka candidatesNon-Karnataka candidates should register on KEA website, provide details and pay registration fee. They should also enter the details of Class 12 and mark cards in PDF format through the Marks Entry website. Such candidates do not need to appear to verify records.OCI, PIO, NRI and other national candidates, along with non-Karnataka eligible candidates seeking NRI Ward, religious minority or special seats of St. John’s Medical College, should make a reservation and go for document verification at KEA, Bengaluru on the scheduled dates.KEA informed the candidates that all counseling rounds of UGNEET-2026, including Stray Vacancy Round, will be conducted online by KEA as per the guidelines of NMC and AYUSH Department.
