actor Sohail Khan who is currently on the show ‘Alliance’ recently made an emotional and personal revelation about his childhood. Sohail said he was sexually molested as a child and has been silent for years. She opened up about the incident while speaking about her strong opposition to bullying and harassment, explaining that it has greatly influenced the way she raises her sons, Nirvaan and Yohan.Talking to his fellow contestants, Sohail shared that he has always encouraged his children to approach him without hesitation if they ever face bullying or feel uncomfortable in any situation. “I am very much against the noise. Principal hamesha Yohan ko aur Nirvaan ko yeh poochta tha, ‘Beta, don’t feel shy or don’t feel ashamed to come and tell me that if someone is bullying you,’ kyunki yeh mere saath hua hai,” he said.Sohail explained that his own childhood experience is why he constantly reminds his children that they should never be silent if they are ever in trouble.“I just keep telling my children, boss, kuch bhi ho jaye…” she said, urging them to never suffer in silence. He further said, “Someone sexually harassed me when I was young and I kept it inside me for years. Jab main bada hua… when I became an adult, I went and confided in my father. I said, ‘Dad, yeh mere saath hua hai’. He said, ‘Tunes beta yeh itne saalon tak?’‘Galti meri nahi thi. But at that moment, you feel the shame.” After his heartfelt revelation, Sohail received support from his fellow contestants, who embraced him and called him “damn brave” for speaking openly about such a painful experience.Earlier in the show, after his ex-wife Seema Sajdeh entered as a wildcard contestant, Sohail reflected on his marriage and admitted that his own actions had played a role in their split.Looking back at that phase of his life, he said, “At that time, kaam theek nahi chal raha tha (my work was not going well), so I was not in the right frame of mind. Because of my behavior, I lost someone I really loved.”He also spoke about the respect they still share despite their divorce, saying, “Live civil, be happy. She is the mother of my two beautiful children, so more than love, I have immense respect for Seema. This will always be a memorable show for me. Even though we are apart, this show has brought us back together to talk and trust each other. There was a missing link between us and this program helped reconnect it.“Sohail Khan and Seema Sajdeh ended their 24-year marriage in 2022, but have maintained a cordial co-parenting relationship with their children, Nirvaan and Yohan.Speaking previously to Zaid Darbar about how they manage parenting after their split, Sohail had said: “We don’t get into each other’s lives. When the kids get together, we get together. The two kids stay with me, so she comes home to meet them three or four times a week. I’ve given her the keys – she can come whenever she wants, no matter how stressful, cordially. We’ve told them both the kids have the best of both of them.“The former couple had eloped before getting married in 1998 and officially separated in 2022. Seema is now in a relationship with Vikram Ahuja, to whom she was engaged before marrying Sohail.
