After Holland’s interview went viral, Haaland addressed the incident during an appearance on the Norwegian version of ‘The Assembly’. The striker admitted that he simply did not know who had sent him a message. He said: “This is a bit embarrassing, to be completely honest. We were in Monaco in Formula 1, and then I got a message. I don’t watch a lot of movies, so I have no idea who the people are.”The footballer explained that, as he did not know Holland, he chose not to answer. “There was one who asked if we could go out to dinner, but I’d never seen him before, so I didn’t bother to answer.
