Priyanka Chopra Jonas has added another accolade to his growing list of international award accolades. After securing Emmy nominated for ‘Heads of State’, the star has now been nominated for Best Actress in an Action Film at the 6th Annual Critics Choice Super Awards.Priyanka received the nomination for her performance as Ercell Bodden in the action thriller ‘The Bluff’. She will compete against a strong field that includes Pamela Anderson (‘The Naked Gun’), Eiza Gonzalez (‘Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice’), Akari Takaishi (‘Ghost Killer’), Charlize Theron (‘Apex’), Samara Weaving (‘Over Your Dead Body’) and Maddie Ziegler (‘Pretty Lethal’).The nominations were announced by the Critics Choice Association (CCA), with James Gunn’s ‘Superman’ emerging as the most nominated film this year. The superhero film received six nominations, including best superhero film, while stars David Corenswet, Edi Gathegi and Nicholas Hoult earned nominations in the best actor category. Following closely behind were eight titles with four nominations each. Films such as ‘Masters of the Universe’, ‘Obsession’, ‘Project Hail Mary’, ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ and ‘Weapons’ got four nominations each.On the TV side, ‘The Boys’ led the pack with five nominations, including best superhero series and a best actor nomination for Antony Starr. Meanwhile, series like ‘Fallout’, ‘House of the Dragon’ and ‘Paradise’ also received four nominations each.The Critics Choice Super Awards celebrate achievements in fan-favorite genres in film and television, including superheroes, science fiction, fantasy, horror and action. Unlike the Critics Choice Awards, the Super Awards do not include a live ceremony. The winners of this year’s edition will be announced on August 6.Below is the full list of nominees:
