Robert Downey Jr. won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in 2024 for his work in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. Tom Holland certainly had long talks with fellow Avenger after bagging the role of Odysseus’ son Telemachus. “Yes, I definitely had a very long conversation with Robert Downey. And then one of my best friends in life has worked with Chris for, I think, 20 years,” he said in an interview to PTI.

“He’s our stunt coordinator. And every time he and I would get together for dinner, he’d say, ‘You have to do whatever it takes to find yourself on a Christopher Nolan set,'” the actor continued. Additionally, Holland expressed that, as an actor, he had the advantage of being in the middle of the set, even if the cameras weren’t rolling.“And for me, I like to learn from people by watching them and watching how they behave and treat people and work with people. So for me, I had the perfect footprints to try to follow Annie (Anne Hathaway) and Matt. [Damon]. So I wanted a lot of choice when it came to lessons,” he said during the conversation.As for Tom Holland, he is set for massive releases. ‘The Odyssey’ will hit theaters on July 17, 2026, while ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ will be released on July 31, 2026.
