Veteran Marathi actor Medha Manjrekarwife of the filmmaker and actor Mahesh Manjrekarhas revealed that he has been diagnosed with cancer. The actress shared the news through a heartfelt post on social media.Medha opened up about her treatment journey and thanked everyone who supported her through one of life’s most difficult phases.Along with her message, Medha posted a series of photographs from the hospital.

Medha revealed in her note that she successfully completed a phase of her treatment. Looking back on the experience, she chose to focus not on the illness but on the kindness she received along her journey.She wrote: “As a phase of my treatment ends and my birthday approaches, I find myself looking back. Not at the diagnosis. Not in surgery. No to chemotherapy. No to radiation. I remember the grace.”He further shared, “Looking back, I know these were no coincidences. This was God’s way of holding my hand. During this journey, I realized that God does not always appear before us in divine form. He came into my life as my gurus, my doctors, my nurses, my family, my friends, and even as someone who was once a stranger but became a blessing.”

Medha also expressed gratitude to the people who took care of her during the treatment. She wrote, “When treatment took away my appetite, someone always knew what I could eat. A box of dhoklas. Soft idlis. Gulpapdi, Pani puri the day I suddenly craved it. Simple food… Wrapped in extraordinary love.”His daughter, actor Sayee Manjrekarresponded to the post with an emotional message, commenting, “the strongest gallllllll.”Various personalities of Marathi cinema, among them To Swapnil JoshiNeena Kulkarni and others also extended their support and wished Medha a healthy recovery.Over the years, Medha Manjrekar has earned recognition for her performances in Marathi cinema. He has appeared in several acclaimed films like ‘Kaksparsh’, ‘De Dhakka’, ‘Natsamrat’, ‘Fakta Ladh Mhana’, ‘Juna Furniture’ and ‘Dabangg 3’.Medha got married Mahesh Manjrekar in 1995. Mahesh Manjrekar was diagnosed with high-grade bladder cancer in 2021. He underwent a major surgery in Mumbai and later recovered.During this difficult period, Medha spoke about the emotional strength the family needed while supporting Mahesh through his treatment.On her work front, Medha Manjrekar was last seen in ‘Ek Raadha Ek Meera’.
