The seventh installment of the YRF Spy Universe, ‘Alpha’, which marks the franchise’s first female-led spy drama, maintained a steady pace in its second weekend. The Alia Bhatt and the Sharvari starrer had a decent second Friday but saw notable growth on Saturday and maintained its grip on Sunday as well. The ‘Alpha’ collection of the second weekend

Releasing on July 3, 2026, “Alpha” marks Alia Bhatt’s debut in the spy-verse. The film, after opening its second weekend on Friday with Rs 1.65 crore nett, saw a jump of over 30 percent on Saturday and earned Rs 2.25 crore nett from 2,883 shows. According to Sacnilk, on Saturday too, the film maintained the same box office number and added Rs 2.25 crore more in 2,733 shows.With this, after 10 theater days, Alpha’s Indian gross collections stand at Rs 63.91 crore, while the net domestic earnings have reached Rs 53.60 crore so far.In the international market too, the stats remain steady with the film adding another nugget to the tally on the 10th, taking the overseas gross collections to Rs 25.50 crore. Combining Indian and overseas gross collections, Alpha’s worldwide earnings after the second weekend stands at Rs 89.41 crore.

On its second Sunday, i.e. July 12, 2026, the overall occupancy was 27.85 percent. The report states that the day had a decent opening with 8 percent attendance in the morning shows. However, the evening shows registered an impressive increase, recording 32.23 percent occupancy. It rose to 36.85 percent in the evening shows. Finally, night shows had 27.54 percent occupancy.
