Actor and comedian Shekhar Suman has come up with a humorous punch Aamir Khan after the actor’s marriage to Gauri Spratt. In the latest episode of his popular YouTube talk show Shekhar Tonite, Shekhar mixed political satire with relationship humor as he joked about Aamir getting married for the third time.Speaking in his trademark comic style, Shekhar said, “This man has given a unique vision to several generations yet to come. And that vision is to pursue something until you achieve it. Politicians especially should learn a lot from him. It is often said that politicians know how to form alliances. But they should learn the art of forming alliances with this man.”
“It runs a triple engine”
Taking the jokes a notch higher, Shekhar said that Aamir had successfully formed a ‘mahagathbandhan’ (grand alliance).“Our government can’t run a double engine smoothly, and now it’s running a triple engine,” he joked.Continuing the joke, Shekhar tapped Gauri Spratt’s name and said, “Aapne Gauri… ek minute… gaur kiya hoga.”He then added, “Aamir’s talent is unimaginable. He is unique. He is like the engine where petrol, ethanol and isobutanol are mixed. But despite this, this engine has not stopped yet, and is running smoothly on the tracks to a new destination.”The comedian also made another political comparison, saying, “Aamir Khan has formed the government for the third time with an absolute majority. Is Aamir Khan the NDA government or what? Even PM Modi must be thinking that he has just broken Nehru’s record, and now he has a new competitor in Aamir Khan.”
“This is called vasudhaiva kutumbakam”
Shekhar also referred to the reported presence of Aamir’s ex-wives and children during the wedding celebrations.Noting that Aamir’s first two wives and their children – Ira Khan, Junaid Khan and Azad – were present, he commented, “This is called vasudhaiva kutumbakam (the world is one family).Ending the segment with another line, Shekhar said, “Now, I understand why he is called the ‘perfectionist’. He keeps doing something until it becomes perfect. As we all know, perfection ki koi seema nahi hoti… Seema chhodiye, koi Reena, koi Kiran nahi hoti.”
Aamir Khan marries Gauri Spratt
Aamir Khan reportedly tied the knot with Gauri Spratt in an intimate registered ceremony held at his Pali Hill residence in Mumbai on July 5. The close-knit function was attended by family members and a handful of close friends.The wedding pictures showed Aamir signing the marriage papers while Gauri sat next to him. The ceremony was attended by Aamir’s son Azad Rao Khan, who was seen holding a ring box, while Gauri’s son from his previous marriage also took part in the ceremony. Aamir’s mother Zeenat Hussain was also present.For the ceremony, Gauri wore an intricately embroidered ivory ethnic dress paired with statement jewelry and fresh white flowers in her braid. Aamir opted for a crisp white kurta, accessorized with a statement brooch, his signature black-rimmed glasses and a well-groomed beard. The intimate celebration was attended by Aamir’s sons Ira Khan and Junaid Khan, son-in-law Nupur Shikhare, filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, members of the Ambani family, actor Elli AvrRam, cricketer Irfan Pathan and politician Raj Thackeray.Aamir and Gauri have known each other for over 25 years after first meeting in Bangalore. Although they kept in touch over the years, they reconnected in 2023 and eventually started dating. Gauri has worked in the fashion and beauty industry and has also been associated with Aamir Khan Productions.
